The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will set up a business centre in Dhaka for potential UAE-based investors and entrepreneurs, who intend to do business in Bangladesh.
This was disclosed by COE OnTime Group Waleid Bin Abdulkareim, of the UAE, when he led a three-member UAE delegation to call on Prime Minister’s Adviser on Private Industry and Investment Salman F Rahman at the latter’s office in Dhaka
In coordination with the Embassy of the UAE in Dhaka, the hub will be an information dissemination point to help the investors and businesspeople.
It also seeks to help and guide Bangladeshi businessmen who want to invest or set up businesses in the UAE.
The delegation sought the Adviser’s help in this regard. The UAE-based delegation also included Ms Yasmine Khan, LLM, an international litigation and arbitration expert.
Salman Fazlur Rahman appreciated the effort being undertaken by Waleid Bin Abdulkareim.
He assured the delegation that he would wholeheartedly support any initiative that is intended to ease the process of doing business and facilitate investment in Bangladesh.
